What condition are the items in?
Customer returns are sold as-is. On a typical pallet you will find new and like-new items that were returned unopened, open-box items, used items, and some that are damaged, incomplete or not working. Nobody tests every item on a pallet.
You will see some sellers advertise "Grade A / B / C" pallets. Those grades are each seller's own labels, not an industry standard, so ask what the grade means before you rely on it. Our pallets are not graded. They are sold as customer returns, with the manifest showing exactly what is on each one.
How to read a pallet manifest
The manifest is the item list for the load. A good one shows the pallet number, item description, an item ID you can look up, category, quantity and listed retail price. Before you buy:
- Sort by listed retail to see how much of the pallet is higher-ticket and how much is low-value filler.
- Filter by category and check the mix matches what your customers buy.
- Check what those items really sell for. Listed retail is not resale value. Our manifest appraiser checks any manifest against what similar items sold for at our auctions.
