Pallet Manifest Appraiser β€” what is your liquidation pallet worth?

How the appraisal works

We run public liquidation auctions twice a week in Kitchener, Ontario, and we record what every lot actually sells for. That gives us 30,138 completed sales across 25,599 distinct products. When a row on your manifest matches something we have sold, we price it on what it really fetched here. When it does not, we fall back to the measured recovery rate for its retail price band.

Nothing on this page is a guess or a rule of thumb. It is what Canadian bidders actually paid.

What a pallet really recovers, by price band

The most common mistake resellers make is applying one flat percentage to a whole manifest. Recovery is not flat β€” it is U-shaped. Cheap goods and expensive goods both recover a larger share of retail than mid-priced goods do.

Retail price Sales measured Typical recovery Usual range
$0 – $25 13,337 21.8% 12% – 27.8%
$25 – $50 26,088 16.5% 7.7% – 21.2%
$50 – $100 17,229 14.5% 5.1% – 20%
$100 – $200 7,901 16.1% 5.8% – 23.3%
$200 – $500 3,538 18.8% 8.1% – 26.1%
$500+ 633 24.6% 11.2% – 36.7%

Recovery is the winning bid as a share of the retail price recorded at the time of sale. The range shown is the 25th to 75th percentile, so half of all results fall inside it. Retail figures are the manufacturer or major-retailer list price, shown for comparison only β€” they are not a former AmazeDeals price.

Common questions

What is a liquidation manifest?

A manifest is the spreadsheet that comes with a pallet or truckload of returned or overstock goods. It normally lists each item's ASIN or UPC, a description, and a retail price. It tells you what is in the load, but not what any of it is worth.

How much is a pallet of Amazon returns worth in Canada?

Across 30,138 completed auction sales, goods recovered roughly 16.4% of their listed retail price on average. A pallet with a $10,000 manifest value would therefore be expected to return somewhere in the low thousands at resale, before your costs. The spread is wide, which is why this tool prices your manifest item by item instead of quoting a single percentage.

Does the manifest have to be from AmazeDeals?

No. Paste a manifest from any source. We price it against our own completed Canadian auction results either way.

Is my manifest stored?

We keep the totals and the highest-value rows so we can improve the tool and tell you when matching stock comes up. We do not publish your manifest or attach it to your name unless you give us your email address.

Why do some items recover more than others?

Condition, completeness, whether the packaging survived, and simply who turns up to bid that week. Consumables and everyday household goods hold their value well. Personal-care electronics often do not.
