A mystery box makes a good gift for one reason: the surprise is the present. Every AmazeDeals box is a sealed mix of brand-name overstock and customer returns, hand-packed at our warehouse in Kitchener, Ontario, and opened by the person you give it to. This guide covers which box suits which person, how to make it more personal, and how to get it there in time for Christmas.
Before you buy a mystery box as a gift
- Five boxes, from $69 to $349 (CAD, before shipping and tax). Higher tiers contain more items and higher-value items.
- Use the Make a wish box on the product page, before you add a box to your cart, to tell our packer who it is for. We take it into account where stock allows. It is not a guarantee.
- Boxes are final sale, and about 5 to 10% of items in any box may be used, damaged or not working. That is part of how a box costs a fraction of listed retail.
- We ship within Canada only. Shipping is calculated at checkout and is not free. Pickup from our Kitchener warehouse has no shipping charge.

Every box spans categories like home, kitchen, electronics, beauty, tools and toys, and contents vary from box to box. We can't pick specific items for a specific person. That is why a mystery box suits someone who enjoys the surprise itself.
Make it personal with the Wish field
Every mystery box product page has a π€ Make a wish box, just above Add to cart. You have 80 characters. Our packer reads it before packing your box. Use it to say who the box is for:
- "Christmas gift for my dad, he loves tools and the garage"
- "For a teenager who likes gadgets and gaming"
- "For my sister's new apartment, kitchen and home stuff please"
We take your wish into account where stock allows. It is a request, not a guarantee, and the box is still a surprise.
Is a mystery box the right gift?
Yes for people who love opening things, like finding deals, resell as a hobby, are setting up a home, or have "everything". The unboxing is the fun part, so it works well opened with family or friends watching.
Maybe not for someone who would be let down by one or two items that don't work, or who needs one specific thing. Boxes are final sale, and roughly 5 to 10% of items in any box may be used, damaged or not working. About 1 to 2 items in a Flash box, and 2 to 5 in a VIP. If most of a box is unusable, that is a bad box and we will make it right: contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
Getting it there before Christmas
- Order early. Orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days, and up to 5 business days in busy periods like December. Courier transit time is on top of that. We don't process orders on Sundays or statutory holidays.
- Ship straight to them. Enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout. We ship anywhere in Canada.
- Last minute? Choose pickup at checkout. Pickup orders are usually ready within 24 hours at Unit 1, 5 Forwell Road, Kitchener, with no shipping charge.
- Check the cost first. Shipping is priced by weight and destination. Use the shipping estimator at the bottom of any page to see yours before you order.
Christmas 2026: order-by dates
These dates combine Canada Post's 2026 holiday mailing dates with our December packing time of up to 5 business days. Order by the date for your area and the box should arrive before December 25.

You cannot choose the items in a box, but you can choose the size and use the wish box to point our packer in the right direction. Past boxes have included home and kitchen items, electronics accessories, beauty products, tools and toys.
- For her: a Starter box with a wish like "for my sister, beauty and home please", or our beauty & personal care lot (25 to 30 products, $149) if she loves skin care.
- For him or Dad: a Pro or Elite box with "loves tools and the garage" in the wish box.
- For teens: a Flash or Starter box with "gadgets and gaming" as the wish.
- For a new home: an Elite or VIP box with "new apartment, kitchen and home stuff".
- For the person who has everything: the unboxing is the gift. A VIP box opened with the family watching works well.

Can I send a mystery box directly to someone as a gift?
Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. We ship anywhere in Canada.
Can I choose what goes in a gift box?
Not directly. Use the Make a wish box on the product page to say who the box is for, and our packer takes it into account where stock allows. It is not a guarantee.
Can the person I give it to return the box?
No. Mystery boxes are final sale. If a box arrives damaged in transit or most of it is unusable, contact support@amazedeals.ca within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and photos.
Is shipping free for gifts?

When should I order for Christmas?
