Listed retail is what a retailer asks, not what an item resells for —\n  we make no claim about resale value, and you should not buy this as an investment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCan I choose the Exclusive item?\u003c\/strong\u003e No. If we let people pick, the best ones\n  would be gone in a minute and every other box would be worse for it. Everyone gets one.\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIs everything new, and does everything work?\u003c\/strong\u003e No, and not always. These\n  are customer returns and overstock. Most items are new or as-new — but\n  \u003cstrong\u003eexpect roughly 5–10% of any box, so 2 to 5 items in an Exclusive, to be used,\n  damaged, or not working.\u003c\/strong\u003e We inspect what we pack and pull anything unsafe, but we do\n  not test every item. That rate is exactly why a box holding $2,000 of listed retail costs\n  $499. If one or two duds would ruin the box for you, this is not the product for you —\n  and we would rather say that here than after you have paid.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSo what if something arrives damaged?\u003c\/strong\u003e The straight answer: one or two\n  items that do not work are the expected rate above, and we do not replace them individually.\n  The price already accounts for them. Mystery boxes are \u003cstrong\u003efinal sale\u003c\/strong\u003e — no\n  refunds, returns, exchanges or partial credits, because the contents are unknown when you buy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n  \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe exception, and we mean it:\u003c\/strong\u003e if the box arrives damaged in transit, or\n  if \u003cstrong\u003emost of it\u003c\/strong\u003e is unusable — more than half, not one or two items\n  — that is not a mystery box, it is a bad box, and we will make it right.
